Also commenting on the situation in Lebanon, Presidential spokesman Hasan Ercakica has said that the sea port of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will continue to be made available for the evacuation of foreigners that are trapped in Lebanon.

Explaining that 5 Turkish Cypriot boats were being used during this time for this purpose, Mr. Ercakica said that foreigners could reach their point of destination by going through Turkey.

‘The Greek Cypriot side is preventing the evacuees from reaching their destination from the closest route so we helping the evacuees from Beirut to reach their final destination via Turkey’, he added.
